ICC-India Campaign

Advocacy

The advocacy activities have revolved around efforts at enhancing the political influence of ICC-India. Over the years  the civil society support-base for the campaign has increased and a national network of interested individuals and organizations has been formed and coordinated.

The campaign is open to dialoging with the government and has had discussion meetings with Indian Parliamentarians on the issue.  For more please see two of our publications

These events were able to achieve its objectives of

  • Information dissemination to Members of Parliament.
  • Initiation of a dialogue on ICC  with a small group of Parliamentarians who are interested in human  rights issues.

The campaign plans to continue its interactions with these Parliamentarians and to extend its dialogue with policy makers.
