Information Dissemination

Information dissemination is an activity geared towards creating rights-awareness among women and girls, and building their perspective with regard to asserting such rights. Gender, law and human rights form three important components of this activity. The common topics that are covered include gender, patriarchy, women's movement, group-building, communication, health issues including food and nutrition, sexuality, reproductive health, mental health, various aspects of rights in law and human rights..

To build the capacity of members of mahila mandals to assist Hindu women in matrimonial disputes and to have better familiarity with all family laws.

OTHERS:  Law, human rights and gender are WRAG’s areas of expertise and information dissemination in the realm of these is done are with varied beneficiaries, particularly social activists, lawyers and college students, where WRAG staff are  invited as resource persons.  Information dissemination programmes are also conducted for the staff and consultants of WRAG regularly.
